You assume he is shopping guys but we don’t know if that is the case. We know he could have got the Carlo return for Andersson last year which looks like a steal for the Bruins with Minten playing on their team at the first currently 10th overall.
We know they could have got the Nelson return at least for Kadri but in that situation he had more control.
If the deadline comes and goes and Coleman and Kadri both remain I think it will be a failure for the Flames if they only trade Andersson and do not end up with a top 5 pick. It would be a disaster if they hold onto 2 veterans and play their way out of the bottom 5.
