Kadri is a lot less defensible. Last night I was chatting with a casual fan that has corporate season tickets. He was shocked at the idea of trading Kadri. It made zero sense to him. I was surprised.
He's a good old boy oil patch guy, wears a Kadri blasty to the games with pride.
That's the kind of fan and reaction the Flames are worried about.
I know there are season ticket holders and high rollers here on this forum, this next comment is NOT directed at them.
That Kadri fan with the four good seats at the Dome, and all the food and Bev dollars he spends, and all the jerseys he buys guests, is worth about 100 of us normie fans to the Flames.
That's why Flames/Malonney/Conroy are so cautious about hyping up a rebuild. And it's why they won't move Kadri IMO until one of the kids (not in net) eclipses him.

That guy bought gaudreau and tkachuk jerseys before that and previous to that he bought iggy jerseys. He'll be just fine.
