I'm going to do a little horning in on this, even though I didn't participate, because someone on CP helped me and my husband play Santa for our daughter-in-law down in Topeka. She has a favourite restaurant in her hometown, and while they have a gift card/certificate program that could be purchased digitally, and delivered via email, it's particular to their restaurant, as they're not a chain (that I know of) - so it would not accept a Canadian credit card. Bizaro offered to help on the US cc front and paid for it (reimbursed as soon as we were all sure the GC was delivered), filled out the message stuff for us, and she received it this morning. She's absolutely thrilled with it, and planning her supper for tomorrow night after work - they have an entire mac & cheese section on their menu, so fried M&C balls is her first supper using her GC.
It was an amazing & lovely gesture, helping us out like that and we are very grateful for that assistance. He didn't have to help, but he did, and it's the very essence of Christmas spirit. Thanks again, Bizaro. Merry Happy Jingly, as our kids used to say (thanks, Invader Zim!
