My Golden Keeper earlier today . . . . . struggling against the current as I was trying to make my way down a steep cliff to the Highwood River.
After the initial panic as I tried to account for my dogs, it became apparent this is probably the greatest swimming hole in the world that probably only four or five people have ever seen. Cliff jumping into deep water and the whole deal.
About 20-25 kilometres west of Longview. Park on the highway, walk about a mile in via a fisherman's access, then rappell down a fairly steep cliff (seriously, someone left a rope) . . . . and try to get there before your dogs so they don't try to drown themselves. Someone uses this place, but infrequently. Beautiful.
Below, topside and walking home . . . . . after making sure there were no bulls in the field!!!
