It's not a good trade at all. Danault seems cooked, he's a $5M cap hit and he will be a 4C. It's a waste of a 2nd that seems like it will be a high one.
Their 2C is at 16 points, playing between Slafovsky and Demidov. That's where they needed help, with Newhook out long term. Kadri would be perfect in that role.
Their problem is that Danualt has eaten their cap space.
