I think if the Wild win a playoff round and the vibes are high, he will. They now have the same advantage that the Canucks had - they can re-sign him for a full 8 years this summer, whereas if he goes to UFA his max term will be 6. Guessing at his AAV, that's a $25-30 million difference on the most important contract of his career.
