I have no idea how to answer this question accurately right now, which this push by the Jets ownership would help resolve. But if this was to go through, it would go something like, Dale, Teemu, Scheifele and Wheeler
The difference you cite is made up and circumstantial, simply because ownership somehow usurped a name of a different franchise (the Coyotes probably fell down on protecting it). And they did have a choice - the fan polls and write ins supported Manitoba Moose almost as much as Jets.

Are you counting Wheeler's Atlanta points? Why doesn't Shane Doan count? Was he not a member of the franchise?

A fair number of Jets fans feel this way, BTW.

One more question - would you be OK with the current Ottawa Senators being counted as having 4 cups?
