Other than bragging rights, I find it difficult to imagine why any normal (non business) household would need or use 3 GB fibre. I’m out in the North Okanagan/Shuswap in the middle of everywhere and have stupendous 1 GB Telus fibre…but I can’t get them to give me more, even though my business could use it. And I hate that I can’t run their fibre, which goes to the rack directly, right into my UDMP, but I need to use their NAH.
I DO pay a premium for a Business / 5 IP Static subnet than residential, so kinda pi**ed at that.
