I've never used my blower for snow but I see my neighbours use theirs for it frequently and seems to work ok.

I got one of the shovel style ones this year and so far I like it. Makes pretty quick work of things. I got one with the adjustable vanes and I would recommend those since it makes it easier to keep stuff where you want it to go.

Maybe the only drawback is if the wind is coming from the direction you're throwing and it's light and fluffy you get a lot all over you.. but that would probably be the case for using a bigger snow blower or a blower too.

But the snow shovel blower thing has been worth the $$ so far IMO.
