I'm trying to remember where this place is or what it was called, but there's a second hand shop that sells a bunch of open box Costco returns and they had a mountain of electric snow shovels, snow blowers and leaf blowers. I went in this fall and got a leaf blower and snow shovel for like a third of what Costco wanted for them and they work great. The blower is easy when it's just a light dusting of snow and the shovel, while a bit heavy to use, just obliterates heavier or thicker stuff so it takes maybe 30 seconds to shovel my walk and sidewalk and about the same to do the back of the house.
