I'm not going to argue the merits of the Maverick as a truck because I really don't care. I'm just happy to see more of them on the road.
I never had a problem with trucks until they became friggin huge and ubiquitous. Trying to park downtown and seeing streets full of stupidly large vehicles (I include SUVs too) is frustrating.
They are very useful but there's too many #######s who primarily buy them to sooth their fragile egos. The Black Dodge Ram driver has become a meme for being an aggressive ######. The Ram is the #1 vehicle involved in DUIs. Scary.
They're more likely to hit and kill pedestrians. Calgary just has a record year for pedestrian collisions. That's infuriating.
