There was an opportunity cost in not trading those 3 players after we cratered in the standings. And as a result we have moved way up and are at risk of not finishing in the bottom 5 at all now.
I really hope the potential added returns we get at the deadline were worth not getting a top 3 pick. But I really doubt it.
And I know people will say "you can't force a trade". Well from what we have been told none of these players have even been on the trade market except maybe Andersson. So I don't even know if we are going to make any trades at this point which is frustrating.
