I seriously don’t understand why it’s so bad. I understand that there are some grey areas and some 50/50’s that need to be sorted out, but in that case it should just be “the call on the field stands” and move along. What I can’t understand, is the egregious and clear errors they make even while reviewing the incident for five minutes and in super slow-mo.
I didn’t see that incident you’re describing, but it sounds like one of those instances that is never a red, and it’s just amazing how with the benefit of the review they still manage to get these so wrong.
