I got a TUMI Wallet for my birthday about 10 years ago and it still looks brand new. Its a bit pricy if you purchase it yourself, but makes a great gift and effectively lasts forever.

That being said however, I dont carry it around in my pants pocket or anything for the most part, it usually goes either in my briefcase or a coat pocket so its with me, but not in a cumbersome manner.

For day-to-day use I have a wallet case on my phone that carries my ID, Health Card and two cards that I use most frequently.
