There is nothing that would appease the majority of the population with regard to the olympics. The answer was always "it costs too much". If I asked individuals what a reasonable price would be for the olympics, nobody could ever tell me. I assume that answer was $1.
Silly. Calgary needed these olympics in the worst way. The funding from the feds isnt something that will ever come back.
