"Good" is relative here.
I think for me personally the issue is I don't actually get any joy of this "supposed" good thing that you're talking about.
Winning a game when you sit in 31st and have no hope of contending for a championship this year doesn't feel good to me.
Nothing is guaranteed but I want them to have the best shot at winning a cup, and for that season that means losing games.
Last season when they were in a playoff spot it meant winning games and it made no sense for the people cheering for losses to be cheering for losses then, they were already too far away from the bottom for it to matter.
But this year it's different. They are in the bottom, losing more keeps them there, and to me that is the "good" outcome.
