Healthy competition is important. It wouldn't mean much if Cooley was used sparingly but with the "win and you're in" approach, Wolf has to raise his compete level and can't be content with just going through the motions because the team in front of him isn't good. He has to earn regular starts.
I wish the same approach would apply to the rest of the roster equally, and not just to the younger players.
