I’ll add that, for the Kadri trades, I’m intentionally making them really big returns because I think that’s what it will take to get the flames to trade him. When you consider the following:

1. The flames don’t really want to trade him;
2. Kadri doesn’t want to be traded;
3. Kadri is the team’s best forward;
4. Kadri is the team’s only legit top 6 center; and
5. Kadri is a leader on the team and has indicated a desire to help build this team.

If the above is true, it likely takes an over-pay to get it done (i.e. at least what Nelson returned last year). Unfortunately, that stance may lead to him not getting traded at all this season IMO.

I agree though that my trade proposals for Andersson are likely too high returns if he is just a rental.
