Isn't court funding mostly a provincial issue?
Unless you are talking about the Federal court but it is unlikely that common criminals are going to federal court.
Maybe you are suggesting that the Feds should take over all of the courts from the provinces (and all of the related funding) to ensure that the courts are funded properly throughout the nation?
