She was one of Americas Most Wanted. She is under investigation for murder among other things. She could have done anything if she went off the deep end. These people have to deal with crazy people like this on a daily basis. Who knows what she would have done.
She didn't give up her identity when questioned.....that is why they had to find out who she was using fingerprints.
