Frank Seravalli on Frankly Hockey

- Maloney should not be allowed near a microphone
- Doesn't understand it, Flames fans are too passionate and too smart for interviews like this
- Effectively, the organization came out and spat in the face of the fans
- He understands why organizations rebuke the idea of the rebuild, however, Flames are 'organically' in their position, why do the Flames need to broadcast their desire to keep these players?
- Frank advice to Flames: "Do not let Don Maloney near a microphone"
- Frank: "The best, most clear path forward for the organization is to bottom out this year and get a top-5 player, and focus on the young core to open the new building
- Absolutely slams the Flames for not having Conroy under contract, and that it sends the wrong message. Praises Conroy, and just continues to roast the Flames organization for not having it done.

- Proceeds to mock Maloney's interview, and asks who is letting him near a microphone, everything he said flies in the face of what the fanbase wants - it's maleficence, this does not make any sense internally or externally.
- Frank notes this season is already dead for the Flames
- Closes with "Get Craig Conroy a contract extension NOW, the fact he doesn't have one is bananas"

Steinberg, Frank, and Francis have all come out and said the organization's path needs to change

Friedman has effectively reported, aligning with Maloney's interview, that the organization's path has not changed.

I'll add, we can debate this or that or whatever as fans - but I think this market deserves better. I think Jay Random, dino7c, and some of the others who endlessly defend the organization no matter what, alongside those of us who are screaming for change, we all deserve better from this organization. I'll always go back to some of Loubardias' final comments in his final year on the mic for Flames games: This organization needs to be held to a higher standard.
