This is the saddest part. The Flames have 12 playoff appearances in 30 years with many of those appearances being first round exits. People like to talk about a "winning" culture. Winning is not culture. The Flames culture that influences everything they do is believing that just getting in the playoffs is enough. That has sadly resulted in abysmal decisions and much more losing than winning.
