Rhett picked up the mantle from Boomer's rant today, the conversation with Dreger set him off. Dreger came on and repeated a bunch of the same arguments we've heard/had before. What Canadian markets can and can't do. What Calgary fans are willing to accept, what the Calgary fanbase is willing to spend money on, and he keeps referencing this interview he did with Winnipeg ownership as an example of why Calgary can't. He really likes to bring up the new arena as well - that's my least favourite argument the anti-rebuild side makes. I understand the others but this one just seems not well thought out. New arena coming in 2 years means you have to just hold status quo?? what?!
Good conversation though with pushback from the crew.
