Yep. It was available for a reasonable price so I went with it along with the Replica cameras. That way they can all take advantage of the proprietary technology in that ecosystem. I looked at the Unifi cameras but I wanted 180 degree cameras which are expected to come out Nov 2025 at probably a fairly high cost.
In terms of networking I went with the UDM Pro SE and the U6+ AP. I’ll mount the AP on the ceiling on the utility room. If wireless is poor on the top floor, then as suggested I can get the U7 Pro and put that in the basement and put the other on the second floor.
Figure I made a good choice or still could have done something or better?
Any good videos I found start watching in order to get me ready for configuring the hardware? I know the very basics of networking but I’m not super familiar with wireless setup and configuration outside of what I’ve done with very basic SSID setup and client configuration.
