I think the Stars, given where they're at and the glaring need for cheap players within their lineup, would love Coleman in their middle 6 at under 2.5m. 1st + prospect would absolutely do it. Maybe we take on Lybushkin.

The stars are a good fit, but it will be interesting how things shape up when Duchene and Benn are back.
Right now, Steel is 3rd in forward ice time. When Duchene comes back, he will lose some of that.
The Stars are being carried by their PP. Their PK is terrible. Coleman is a great 5 on 5 and PK players. Produces away from the PP. 50% RS he is there for 2 years and probably stays on a cheap deal move forward.
Bourque has been ok, but hasn't produced much 5 on 5. 4 points vs 2 on the PP. Coleman has 7 goals, 6 at 5 on 5 and 1 SHG. The Stars have a better top 6 now that they have Rantanen, they need to improve the bottom 6 with players that play a certain style of play and in a certain role. I just don't see Bourque pushing out or improving the top 6 for the next year or 2 and he will eventually make more money than Coleman.
IMO the Flames should go with what they got and stay away from Bourque as the main piece, but the Stars could trade him for an asset and flip that to the Flames. Chicago or SJ would be a great fit
