You love it, you’ve been waiting for it and now is the time!

It is the 8th Annual Calgary Puck Secret Santa!

Most should know how this works but for somebody who is new and hasn't been involved before this is the low down.

The idea is simple, sign up to give and receive a gift from a fellow community member. We have guys and gals - people in town and out of town. . It’s organic, it’s fun, it’s ours.

If you are worried because you don't live in Calgary, it doesn't matter join up!

If you are curious send me a PM and ask any questions you may have.

If you have done it before and are in again - welcome back!

Rules:

Registration closes Monday Dec 1st (at 9pm Calgary time) and details of your recipient will be sent on the 2nd of December.

In order to participate you must be willing to gift something approximately $20-30 CAD before shipping costs. You can choose to go beyond if you wish too.

You must be beyond a draft pick to participate.

Do not register if you do not intend to follow through - those who Scrooge will be barred from future participation.

You MUST be comfortable with providing me and your sender with your post address.

After the entry deadline passes I will make an exchange list and I will provide you with somebody from the master list and it will be your responsibility to send a gift for that person.

Send your gifts as soon as possible to allow time for them to arrive with the intent of all arrivals before the holidays.

When all is said and done post a picture/description of what you got!

Note: If you are going to miss the deadline for exchange please be in contact with me, it’s fine if it happens we just don’t want your receiver to be in the dark. Communication is key.

Monitor the thread as often questions are posted towards specific members, answers you are comfortable answering can be posted directly in the thread instead of a PM to me.

To register:

Make your intention clear in this thread.

Send me a PM.

I will reply with a short questionnaire, in turn, that will be provided to your Santa. The questionnaire is a few questions to help Santa get you something you would enjoy.

Once you return the questionnaire to me filled out I will then add you to the master list in this thread.

Once on the master list you are expected to take part in the exchange.

The intent of this exchange is good meaning fun and perhaps get to know another poster along the way. The gifts in the past have been wonderful so lets keep it rolling!

-Favorite colour
-What do you own for media consumption? (i.e. game consoles, dvd/bluray player, android vs. iPhone). Answer N/A if you do not wish to receive items related to this.
-Are you against hand made items?
-Are you against gift certificates / gift cards?
-Anti-Wish List. Things you are against receiving.
-Any Allergies?
