IMO, it's the tough schedule to start, combined with missing Huberdaeu for the first few games. And most of all, Wolf not saving this team's bacon on a nightly basis. They know they aren't making the playoffs, which makes for a long season, and a lot of frustration.
I just don't see how it was caused by not making 1 trade in the off-season. We would've been even worse if Parekh started the season in the top 4, I think that could've shattered his confidence right there.

Yeah I think everyone would agree there’s negativity all around that locker room. Royle in fact did say he thinks it’s multiple guys, not just Andersson.
I agree with you that the biggest reason this team is where they are is that Wolf isn’t stealing wins this year, his play is still good, just everyone in front of him stinks.
With that all said, I believe Royle and I also think Andersson may have more reasons (looming trade, long term flame) to be jaded right now than most others on the team.
