There is nothing the Wings want from Edmonton other than a bigger deal that would likely involve Bouchard. Bouchard wouldn't get the type of return that Oilers media and associated fan boys think.
That's Allan Mitchell's column titled "Lowe Tide" which is strange because one would assume he was generally critical of the Oil, but in fact, is as delusional as anyone other than maybe Staples. He always floats these fantastical trade proposals that are completely untethered from reality.
I'm sure someone here can offer more background, but Mitchell comes across as a second rate advanced stats guru with the annoying air of snobbish spreadsheet elitism.
