Friends, the Calgary Flames are in the midst of a challenging season.
They’ve won four times in their first 17 games. They’re currently mired in an offensive cold spell. Their power play is no good right now. Their top prospect, Zayne Parekh, is currently injured and hasn’t had a super start to his NHL career as of yet.

It’s a Team Game – Despite their complete inefficiency at being able to actually put the puck in the net the Flames do a pretty darn good job at defending their own end. They limit chances at a good rate, usually only surrendering goals if someone makes a blatant mistake.

Projecting Flames prospects for the 2026 World Junior Championships

Friends, we’re about a month away from camp rosters being announced for the 2026 edition of the World Junior Championships, the annual clash of the top national under-20 teams from around the world. The tournament itself begins on Boxing Day.
