I was writing my other post while you wrote this but it seems we were thinking right along the same line.
I am personally less enthused about Verhoeff. Not only because of our RD prospect glut, and the far out hope that we may even be able to sign a pajama wearing Makar in the not so distant future, but also I don't see his skill set being as dynamic at the NHL level. Plus if there is something truly in the water in Edmonton, then Fort Saskatchewan has the most of it. lol.
All that said, Iginla will have the best read and if he is pushing it maybe it would be for the best.
