It's going to be a pretty draconian budget from what I'm hearing. Something like the Chretien/Martin budgets in the mid-90s. No direct cuts, but allowing a lot of social programs up for renewal to sunset. Probably get some significant savings out of that.
Increasing military spending to 5% is something that will actually get the Americans' attention, so I'm interested to see how all that spells out in the actual spending.
