Saturday's World Series finale was the most-watched Rogers broadcast ever, with an average audience of 10.9 million viewers.

Over 18.5 million Canadians, nearly 45 per cent of the country's population, watched some or all of Game 7, peaking at 14 million around midnight when Ernie Clement came to bat with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the ninth inning.

The thrilling end to a month-long journey also stands as the most-watched English-language broadcast on record in Canada besides the 2010 Winter Olympics.
