So many different moments you can fixate on that just did not go the Jays way. It’s truly remarkable. As a fan I think the best way to process it is that for whatever reason it just was not meant to be, you will drive yourself crazy analyzing the 6-7 different situations that led the Jays to losing that game. When we look back at 04 we think of one sequence of events that was very unlucky, the last two games has had so many what if’s it’s hard to keep track of them all. I was kid in 04 and I think I replayed the “it was in” moment so many times during the months following with many tears. I will be taking a lesson from the Flames loss and will try to not overanalyze all the mistakes/decisions the Jays made in the last two. It is what it is at this point, sports is a cruel enjoyment and is never fair.
