I don't see a lot of people claiming Huska is an amazing coach. You've got a couple posters who hate him, everything he does and give him no credit for last season's success.
You've got others who suggest he played a role in last year's success along with several other factors, including goaltending. And a lot of those people also don't believe Huska is likely going to be the coach when this team is ready to win, or that he is even an elite coach today. But he is also not a bad coach. And I challenge if the Flames could bring in a coach who is clearly better. As I've mentioned, this isn't a compelling place to coach: lack of talent, no star players, a bad building, and a franchise that has established a pattern of firing coaches every 2 years. Who is going to sign up for that?
All that is separate from my point which is Rhett picks and chooses what information he uses to confirm his biases, and will even go as far to make things up.
