Those don’t seem like bidding war prices to me. They might be the actual prices but I would be trying to get something more like a 1st and Kasper from Detroit.
I myself would rather have Coleman than Charlie Coyle, regardless of position and Coyle went for 2023 3rd, a 2025 2nd and Middelstadt and then two months later him and Wood were flipped for a 2nd, a 3rd and a 2023 2nd. At a minimum I don’t think you would need to retain to get a 1st for Coleman and if you did retain you should be able to get more than a 1st.
Jets gave up a 2nd for Brandon Tanev who is a far inferior player to Coleman.
