No issue with him getting a break to watch and reset, but I do think the time for coddling him along should be winding down over the next 10 games as well. I would love to see him used with Bahl or Weegar at EV strength sooner than later and consistently as the PP1 guy immediately when he returns.
People will say that's too much I'm sure, but he needs to be pushed and I think he's the kind of player that will rise to the occasion now that he's becoming more familiar with the NHL pace.
