After 9 games, Parekh has 1 assist and has a lot to work on defensively.

Is it still worth burning a year to keep him at the NHL level? It's really too bad that he can't go to the AHL, but I am worried that he is in over his head at the NHL level right now.

I am definitely not giving up on a 19 year old defenseman, I do wonder if staying in the NHL right now is best for his development and confidence.
