They walk Shohei and it's 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Betts still flys out. But both runners probably score with that hard hit past first that Freeman had since Shohei would be running on contact there with 2 outs.
The real decision that will haunt them from this game is not walking Shohei in the 7th. With one out putting Shohei on 1st there is a no brainer.

His hard double scoring Hernandez sparked the inning and after it was over it was tied.
Ohtani didn’t come around to score any of the 5 times he was walked after the 7th.
Take the bat out of his hand no matter what.
