It also doesn't matter if bubble teams are on a lower than usual pace presently. The pace was lower early in the season last year too (we were talking about 92 or 93 points being enough to get in), but teams always pick it up down the stretch and that playoff line number comes up to what you'd typically expect.

The number went up in the west but not in the east. You can't always predict what the end number will be.
