Past champion status will get him into about 9 or 10 events, plus I'd assume he'd get into the Canadian Open. Sticking in the top 150, would help his status a bit, as would jumping up to 110.

His SG approach have fallen off a cliff for whatever reason this year. He's been going to Mark Blackburn since last year, as had Gordon Sargent who also had a terrible year. He is the #1 ranked instructor, but it doesn't look like his approach works for everyone.
