I have no clue of the stats that would support or refute this, but Bo at 2B with Yesavage on the mound might shelter him a little bit versus other Jays pitchers.
His Splitter and Slider both have armside movement, making the pitch move to the right (the reverse of what you would expect). So lefties would more naturally push the ball towards SS/3B with the pitch tailing away from them, and righters would more naturally pull the ball towards SS/3B with the pitch jamming them a bit.
Again no stats to back this up, but might be a less risky expiriment to try this out tonight with Yesavage on the mound versus other starters. Though, in game 1 of the World Series I personally would have opted not to expiriment at all.
