Yes. If you're both clean, (and really do go get checked, you never know,) the pill by itself is usually only 97% effective. So for every 100x you have sex, you'll end up with three kids.
(Actually, that's for every 100 couple who practise this method of birth control. But they have to give this stat or they'd face lawsuits. Realistically you're probably safer than that.)
