Yes he sometimes makes bone-headed plays but he has also come up with massive hits. And the moment doesn't happen last night without an incredibly disciplined AB to generate a walk.
Yet some fans just seem to have a dislike for him. Not sure why

spent quite a bit of time at spring training last year (2024) and every game I was at Barger did something that grabbed my attention- I'm normally a poor judge of talent, get distracted by the wrong things, but remember thinking- they have a player here. I'm glad how things are going for him
