I want to replace the light switch that operates my gas fireplace. Right now you just flick the switch up or down for on/off. I want to put a timer there like we have in our bathrooms for the fans.
Do I use just a normal bathroom fan timer switch, or is there something different about fireplace switches? The reason I ask is all my switches are decora, but the fireplace switch is the old school pokey out one. Has me wondering if a special timer is required.
