Whatever you do and no matter how much money you save....NEVER EVER EVER EVER Go with Uhaul. They are a JOKE!!!
Last summer when me and my roomie moved we both booked a Uhaul trailers but on different days. Well the day we have to move I phone to get my trailer they tell me they have no idea where the trailer is but they have located another one for me, so that was fine.
Well then my buddy phones to get his trailer when he was off work and they tell him they had to give it away (Ya thats right the one I got, and have already packed full of my stuff) BUT they have one for him and he has to call back in 15 minutes.
15 minutes later he phones in and they tell him his trailer is ready, in BANFF! Well in Uhauls little world Banff is considered local to Calgary when you book a truck. So he had to drive 45 minutes to get a trailer, and 45 minutes back and they would not give him any type of money off for the inconvince because "Thats just how things work at Uhaul" one lady told him.
AND in all the confusion we both phoned Uhaul because we had to keep the trailers an extra day because it took us longer to get to Victoria than we thought (stayed in Kelowna with some friends and partied
), and they tell us they have no record of even renting with them. Anyone want to buy a trailer?
