- Hamas is still a terrorist organization that hates Israelis
- Israel is still being run by warmongers who hate Palestinians
- Most surviving Palestinians in Gaza have no homes to go back to, no hospitals, no schools, no stores, and are still starving and dying
- Palestinians are still being killed and run out of their homes outside Gaza

The broader conflict and the death toll didn’t start on October 7 and it isn’t over today. Are we happy about that?
Exactly.

Imagine if you were kidnapped, and beat, and tortured (something that has happened to both the Israeli hostages and Palestinians), and you were finally freed, and when you get home everyone keeps asking you "are you happy now" and questioning why you're not ecstatic.

Well ya, I'm relieved to be home, but I was still just beaten and tortured for the last two years, so "happy" isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe how I'm feeling. Especially since the people who beat and tortured me are still walking around.
