Honestly, I wouldn't waste any assets to bring in a back-up goalie, especially at the expense of quality playing time for Sergeev and Say in the minors. The priority right now should be internal growth of those guys.
This team is not a back-up goalie away from being a viable playoff team. I get the notion that you don't need to solve all the big problems before solving small problems, but it's just so inconsequential right now and not worth an asset or creating a log jam that blocks our goalie prospects. If someone was taking back Cooley or Prosvetov in a one-for-one, perhaps because they want cap space, then fine, but that is as far as I would go.
