Since the entire exercise is about comparing playoff numbers to regular-season numbers, you can't get out that way. The Cobra was making exactly that comparison to try to prove that Kiprusoff was better in the playoffs than in the regular season. But you would have to look specifically at those seasons where he (a) played a heavy schedule in the regular season, and (b) actually made the playoffs.
