Y'all are blowing my mind, do you have no self preservation skills? Do you look before crossing, or do you just assume all drivers are perfect and follow every rule of the law to the letter? Have you met people? People are ####ty distracted selfish morons. Why would you put your life in the hands of people? Here we have a video of what happens when you do that. Until you can make all people perfect, you might want to upgrade your self preservation skills.
You know, it’s entirely possible a teenage girl made a mistake or had a momentary lapse in judgement as to whether the slower moving vehicle would come to a stop. A mistake she’s not likely to make an again.

I think people are allowed to find the jumping to conclusions and the “thank goodness someone said it!” narrative funny. Isn’t also true that we shouldn’t expect the victim to be perfect here? I’m sure you’ve done something equally or even more dumb without consequence. Such is life.
