It's hard to evaluate this team with such a challenging start. Of course, if they go 2-10 then they have a huge hole to climb out of and it would take a really strong rest of the season to get close to the playoffs. If they go 6-6, then is that good or bad given the schedule?

I have them at 6-4-2, but I tend to be fairly optimistic as a fan. I could easily see them going 4-6-2, but is that insurmountable?

Yeah, they don't have to get off to a crazy good start like last year but you can't go like 2-10. Survive the first month and the Flames barely have any back to backs left with strength of schedule looking pretty good too.
